Rosemary tea ( روزمیری چائے ) is an aromatic herbal infusion made from the leaves of Salvia rosmarinus (formerly Rosmarinus officinalis), an evergreen herb native to the Mediterranean region
Botanical or Organic name: Rosmarinus officinalis L.
Main benefits: Rosemary tea is traditionally enjoyed for digestive comfort, freshness, relaxation, and overall wellness. European Medicines Agency guidance recognizes rosemary leaf preparations for traditional use in relieving mild digestive discomfort and minor gastrointestinal spasms.
Ways to enjoy: Brew it as a traditional herbal Hot tea or serve it chilled as iced tea, or combine it with lemon, honey, ginger, mint, or other herbal teas for a refreshing blend.
Recommended intake: The EMA monograph describes 1–2 g of dried rosemary leaf in 150–250 ml of boiling water, taken 2–3 times daily, with a total daily herbal-tea amount of 2–6 g for its traditional medicinal use in adolescents, adults, and older adults. For a regular wellness tea, starting with 1–2 cups daily is a more conservative approach.
Tip: Add a few drops of fresh lemon juice after brewing to create a refreshing herbal tea. For a naturally sweeter taste, add a little honey once the tea has cooled slightly.
