Beetroot Powder (چقندر پاؤڈر - Chuqandar Powder) Botanical name: Beta vulgaris.
Beetroot powder is naturally rich in dietary nitrates, betalains, folate, potassium, and antioxidant compounds. Its nitrate content may support healthy blood flow and cardiovascular function, while research suggests beetroot-derived nitrate may also support exercise performance and endurance. Studies have found that beetroot juice can modestly reduce systolic blood pressure.
Ways to enjoy it: Mix into water, juice, smoothies, shakes, yogurt, or milk, add to soups or sauces, blend into energy drinks, or sprinkle over salads, fruit, oatmeal, and other foods.
Daily intake: For a food-style powder, 1–2 teaspoons (approximately 3–5 g) per day is a practical moderate serving, following the product label. Avoid presenting this as a medically established maximum dose; concentrated beetroot products can provide substantially different amounts of nitrate. Research on beetroot juice has used widely varying nitrate doses.
